Hello! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Elliott and I am a member of the Barky Pines family. I was the featured Salty Dog for April 2017. I would like to tell you my story. I’ve been at Barky Pines for many months since I had the first surgery on my left leg. It was a big procedure and it took months of healing and therapy. Before the procedure, I was not able to use my leg, but thanks to my family now I can walk on it. My family helped me get healthy and stronger every day. They walked beside me as I hobbled my way across the yard and were so happy by the end of each walk. I know that they are very proud of me.

Well, now thanks to your generous support I also had surgery on my right leg as well! It truly is a blessing to know that someday I will have use of both of my hind legs. I look forward to the day I am able to walk again… !
