Thanks to supporters like YOU, Salty Dog Paddle is now the largest Water Sports charity in the USA and the fastest growing animal organization that is structured as a 501(c)(3) public charity, according to The best part is that we are also volunteer-based with no employees or paid staff members, so all the money we receive goes directly to the animals we support (We do not keep any portion)!

Is your pup ready to Hang-Twenty? Salty Dog Paddle’s Stand-up Paddleboarding (SUP) Service is mobile, so we have multiple drop-in sites with volunteers throughout the United States including Southern Florida, Central Florida / Orlando, Southern California – Orange County, and Colorado. We will bring everything to you! No matter where you are located, we have an adventure awaiting you and your four-legged friend!

Stand-up Paddleboarding lessons, tours, and excursions are available by appointment any day or time!

  • a nickname for an ornery US Navy Sailor who has spent much of his life aboard a ship at sea. A Salty Dog is often given increased credibility by shipmates in matters pertaining to ship-board life and duties. Also known as an “Old Salt.”
  • a US Marine whose rank does not necessary correspond with his or her uniform in the case of wearing faded camouflage combat utilities. The colloquial nickname for US Marines is “Devil Dog.”
  • The original mascot for the US Marines, “Chesty I,” who is rumored to have been demoted due to an altercation with another dog.
