Salty Dog Paddle is donating ALL of its proceeds for the month of October to animals affected by Hurricane Michael and Facebook has agreed to match any donations made up to $1,000. As a volunteer-based charity we do not have any staff or facility costs, so 100% of your donation will be going to the animals saved – we do not keep any portion for ourselves.
UPDATE: Thanks to your kind support and donations our rescue partners were able to pull out over 500 domestic animals that are now safe and sound and raised over $3,000 for their care!!!
Special thank you to HSUS, Humane Society of Pinellas and the SPCA of Tampa Bay for physically transporting the animals out of the area. A few photos of the pups that were saved are pictured below.
