Join Salty Dog Paddle and crew for the Happy (Yappy) Hour for charity that Sen-Sentinel called “The Funnest Dog-Friendly Time in South Florida,” at CWS in downtown Lake Worth on Friday, July 31st from 4pm – 7pm. 100% of all proceeds received at our table will directly benefit our Salty Dog of the month – Dutch (we are not keeping any portion ourselves to cover expenses as a volunteer-based charity) and the restaurant is also donating 20% of all their food and drink sales during the Happy Hour directly to Dutch as well! So, the more you eat and drink – the more you can help save him!

COVID-19 Animal Shelter Preparedness Guide

The emergence of COVID-19 designates the need for a guide for shelters to make decisions to maintain lifesaving operations. The possibility of open-intake shelters having to shut down adoption operations does not affect the need to continue to admit animals in need of immediate shelter. The risks associated with this is that shelters take in more animals than they can provide housing or live outcomes and could lead to unnecessary decisions to euthanize animals due to a lack of space.
