St. Patty’s Day Hang Twenty Puppy Paddle 3/19

Good thing you didn’t throw your Saint Patrick’s Day get-ups away just yet! Thank you for joining Salty Dog on Sunday March 19th from 4 – 6pm for a costume themed Hang Twenty puppy paddle to benefit Mimi the Manchester Terrier / Italian Greyhound at Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue! There was a costume contest for the best dressed pup and their human who hung twenty during the event!

Pups paddled to a nearby sandbar, “Little Peanut,” which is a local hangout where the pups got a chance to Hang-Twenty!

Board rentals were a $30 donation and all of the proceeds went to Mimi – we did not keep any part of it! If you already had a board it was FREE to join!

About Mimi

Mimi is a spunky 5 year old who loves being alive! Despite being abandoned  with a litter of puppies at a county shelter, missing teeth, and heartworm, she is a playful happy girl and never complains!

At this young age, Mimi has a grim future… She has already lost 100% sight in one eye, and her ophthalmologist told us, she has now lost 10% sight in her good eye. Sadly, the juvenile cataract will continue to progress and soon, Mimi will be completely blind in both eyes.

Mimi has come so far, and we want to see it through, and make sure she never has to live in a world of darkness. Please come out and support giving Mimi a bright future!
